Hey y’all! 💛💋
I’m welcoming February with big smiles as it’s been endearing us with this beautiful weather! This past Saturday I went out to dinner, and then some shopping with my good friend! We went down to Shadyside and ate at this cute little restaurant! AnywhoOoOoOo, I thought I’d share what I wore that night in case you’re in need of some inspiration of what to wear on a girls night.. when it’s still kinda chilly outside! I know I end up ripping my entire closet apart before I find the right outfit, who’s with me on that?! Well, jeans are an obvious “go to” with this weather and it’s nice to know some tips and tricks on how to make them dressy! So let’s get into it:
Sweater: American Eagle
Tank: Old Navy
Jeans: American Eagle
Boots: Gabes… Down below for details👢
Ps. My curls are made from no heat! I French braided my damp hair the night before and sprayed some sea-salt (Not Your Mothers) spray in it and I was good to go!
CAN WE JUST…. I’m in LOVE with these boots! 😍😍 I’m 5’2 so these give me height which I love and they’re extremely comfortable, surprisingly! The heels are black and the boots are like a taupe color so it makes it easy to wear them with anything! And guess how much I paid for them…. Take a guesssss… Um well I’ll tell ya, $9.99 !! 😁 I was debating on getting them because I have so many boots and really, I don’t need any more, but once I saw the price I couldn’t help myself! I was like ok ya girl I’m getting these no hesitation!! They’re made well too, so I got them for a steal! Ah, i’m just so happy about these boots! Ok ok ok. *shoe ran over*
Anyways, that’s what I wore! It was mid 40s-50s by the time the sun set, so the sweater kept me pretty warm! I tucked the tank in a little to help shape my waist, plus it looked cute! You could even tie it if you wanted to! Statement necklaces and heeled boots will dress up a boring jean outfit for sure! Plus, i’m almost certain this is something ever girl already owns. And if you don’t, a great place to get inexpensive statement necklaces are Gabes and Burlington! I’d say they range from $1.99-$9.99, so not too shabby if you ask me. Especially if you consider the fact that if you’d go to a store like Francesca, express, Charming Charlies, Macy’s, etc. you’d be paying waaaaaay more for costume jewelry that could easily break! And I know all us college students would love to save a buck here and there if we can!
Tip: if you are wearing cute ankle booties with jeans, cuff the bottom of your jeans so the cuff will show above your boots. In my opinion, it makes your legs appear longer and thinner!😉 And who doesn’t love that?!
So if you’re having a girls night or just going out to a party this is the perfect outfit for the in between winter and spring weather! If you get warm, you can tie the cardigan around your waist and it will look effortlessly chic! Alright, well thanks for stopping by my blog and don’t forgot to stop by again! Now that I’m pretty set on my blog posts I’m going to try to post only once or twice a week every Monday and Thursday maybe?? I’m not exactly sure just yet, but we will see! Well I’m gonna get going.. I hope you all have a great rest of your week! I’ll be talking to you soon 😁💛🌞🌻🙆🏼
Best wishes,
Lexi 🌻 xo
