Hey guys! 😊
I’m back, long time no see! 😉 Alright, well the paint finished drying on this little project I did so I’m ready to share it with y’all! As many of you already know from my pervious posts, I’m trying to become a healthier version of myself this year! So in order to do so I’ve been making a lot of changes to my diet as well as exercising! I’ve read throughout different blogs, books, websites, etc. how important it is to switch up your routine so you’re not constantly doing the same workouts everyday! And if we’re being completely honest I struggled with switching it up until now, I’m happy to say I found a solution 🙆🏼 I got this #DIY inspiration from Pinterest and put my own little twist onto it! Let’s get fit together 💁🏼🏃🏽💪🏽😋
Let me explain what I’m talking about: I went to Patcatans looking for popscicle sticks and I found these cute flower ones. On the back of them I wrote different exercises in black sharpie.
🌻 Sunflower: Booty exercises
🐛 Butterfly: Arm exercises
These were just plain wooden sticks in a package and I painted them just for fun! You obviously don’t have to do this, you could just use normal Popsicle sticks. I just thought these ones were more fun and made it more colorful! 🌻💛🌻
The exercises range from squats, to planks, to tricep curls. I put the amount to be doing on each stick as 30. Also, in order to do some of these exercise make sure you have weights! I bought two five pound weights at five below for a total of $10! I would definitely recommend them 💪🏽💪🏽 but even if you don’t have any, try it without them, I bet you’ll still feel it. I know I did!
Next:
I found a mason jar from Burlington ($2.99) earlier when I was shopping with my friend. I thought it was so cute with an A on it for Alexis! I took some sparkle ribbon and hot glued it to the top of the jar, again just for fun! 🤓✨ and then put the flower sticks into the jar with the stems facing down!
Here’s the result:
So now all you have to do is pick two sticks out of each section without looking at what it says (butt, arms, abs aka sunflower, butterfly, tulip) and do that workout! So this way every time you workout, you’re switching it up because you’re picking them out at random! I just finished making this and I’m so excited to use it for my daily at home workouts! I hope you guys try it too! As always, I want to thank you for stopping by my site! Keep yourself updated to new blog posts by following my Instagram @LexRayn! I’m very active on there and I post daily inspiration for anyone who might need it 😊 let me know if you liked this #DIY 🌻🐛🌷 I’ll be talking to all you beauties soon! 💪🏽😊🙆🏼✨
Best wishes!
