Sweaters & Suede Skirts

Happy, happy Friday! I hope you’ve all had a fabulous school week, work work, or whatever your week consisted of! I want to apologize for not posting on Wednesday, I had SO much homework and studying to do which kicked my butt, but paid off of course. I was thinking since I skipped Wednesday, there may be a post this weekend to make up for missing it! *hint hint* Anyways, since we last chatted it was technically still Summer and now guess what?! Yesterday was the first day of Fall! Yay! Fall is by far my favorite season especially when it comes to fashion and if it’s not yours then you’re a total goofball. We’ll soon no longer be sweating our booties off, I mean how could anyone not love the crisp feel of the air and beauty of everything slowly changing. Fall is soSOsoSOso very irresistible to me. Booties, cardigans, jeans, sweaters, flannels, pumpkins, candles, bonfires.. Bring it on Fall 2016.

Today to kick off the season right, I have a little outfit of the day post for ya’ll! It’s still fairly hot outside, but chilly in the mornings. Skirts are definitely perfect for the weather transition with a sweater or jean jacket, dontcha think? Well, without further ado, let’s get into my easy peasy Fall #ootd!

Shoes: American Eagle ($6.99)

The button up suede/corduroy skirt trend this fall is going to be my ish. I love skirts and dresses and being able to wear them in the fall in such a funky yet comfy material makes for a happy gal. They give a little girly twist on the typical Fall look! I definitely recommend buying a skirt like the one i’m wearing for this year’s Fall season. As for my hair, this little top knot is an easy hairstyle to do and it keeps the hair out of my face on windy days, and it’s so stinking adorable if you ask me!
