Recreating Pinterest Outfits #1 – Fall OOTD

Hi babes!

I hope everyone is having a great week! Today was the perfect fall day, I spent most of it outside enjoying the sunshine since it’s probably the last bit of warm air that we will have for 2016 now that we just started the month of November. Winter will be here before we know it! I scheduled my classes for next semester today and I’m feeling very grateful for every opportunity that has come my way these last few months. I can’t even begin to explain how different my life was a year a go and it’s just a reminded that no matter how lost or unsure you are of your future, if you work hard and stay positive, everything will fall into place.

Anyways, I wanted to introduce to you all a new post that I will be doing every so often here on my site to switch things up a bit! ~ Recreating Pinterest Outfits ~ These past few days I was thinking of some new blog post ideas as we were entering the month of November and I decided to start something new on my blog where I recreate cute and trendy outfits I find on Pinterest with things I have in my own closest! I can only imagine that I’m not the only girl who is constantly pinning outfits to their Pinterest boards but never does anything with it. Today I looked up the tag “Fall Outfit Ideas” and I instantly fell in love with this outfit and since the weather was perfect I wanted to give it a go! I, of course, won’t have the exact pieces for the outfits but I will try my best to match with things I already have. I hope this post gives you all some outfit inspiration and some ideas on how to put your Pinterest boards to good use. Let’s get started, shall we!

The button up suede/corduroy skirt trend this fall is this years obsession for me. I love skirts and dresses and being able to wear them in the fall in such a funky yet comfy material makes for a happy gal. They give a little girly twist on the typical fall look! I definitely recommend buying a skirt like the one i’m wearing for this year’s fall season. If you ask me a good jean jacket are always something you need to have in your closet for any season, they’re versatile and can be worn dressy or casual, same with a black and white striped shirt!
