Hi babes! 🌸🌻💛
Happy Friday to you all! I have a busy day ahead of me, well to be more exact I’ll be busy this entire weekend with school events, homework, work, and so on! What about you guys? Any plans? Aside from that, I’m back here with a new #ootd post because where I live Mother Nature decided to give us weather in the the 60s all through out the week and today it should get up to the mid 70s! This little taste of Spring has been unbelievably wonderful and It was exactly what I needed to perk up my mood. I painted my nails with a fun spring color, got my hair cut, was able to go outside for walks in the park! I was even able to dress up all week long in some of my favorite floral dresses, which if you know me, you know that I love to do that more than anything! I’m excited to show you gals some different outfits I put together in different blog posts, so without further ado, let’s get into the post!
Dress: Gabe’s ($12.99)
Shirt: Marshalls ($14.99)
Scarf: H&M ($4.00)
Shoes: Target ($14-$16)
I love loose fitting dresses because they’re just so easy to wear and fit all types of body shapes. For this outfit in particular, I pair it with a button up chambray shirt that I bought last year around this time and a cozy knitted infinity scarf because it popped the coral color that was in the dress. My classes are early in the morning and it’s normally chillier at that time. They best way in the spring to stay warm is to layer, but I find it sometimes hard to layer with loose fitting dresses for the simple reason that it may make you look too large and in charge. To fix this issue I tied my shirt at my waist line and paired the scarf to finish the look as well as to make sure I was warm in the AM. But as the day went on, I was able to take the tied chambray shirt off and wear the dress all by its self! Normally when I wear larges scarves, I like to keep my hair up and out of the way and I curled the ends to make it look more girly! 🌸
Ps. I swear one of my dogs always get in the back on my photos lol
February is coming to an end and this week has been nothing but beautiful. I’m so excited for the weather to break and to tackle on the spring fashion. I really loved this look and I hope you all did too!
