Hi, friends.
I hope everyone had a wonderful break and an even better Easter! The Easter Bunny treated me well. This past weekend, I was fortunate enough to be able to get out of Pennsylvania for a few days. The weekend was very relaxed with good food, laughter, catching some football, and walking throughout Washington D.C. It was a perfect way to end spring break and give me the last bit of motivation and energy to work through these next (and last) 4 weeks of the semester from hell! *HUGE sigh of relief* Anyways, I’m to share with y’allĀ a little “Weekend In My Life” for today’s post.
I hope you gals like it š„ š·
Friday
Packed up way too many outfits, as usual, grabbed a book for the ride, and off we went for a four-hour drive to Washington D.C. When we arrived, we stopped for lunch and coffee. Then enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing with loved ones until we gathered up for some dinner.
Saturday
We woke up early, had breakfast and went off to an easter egg hunt. After that was over, we went over to the Eastern Market in D.C. and walked around. Finally, we had some MexicanĀ food for lunch right before we headed over to the “Wharf” where we took lots of fun pictures and played on swings.
Sunday
Easter morning was greeted with baskets from the Easter bunny and a church service on a deck outside of Annapolis. Then followed by dinner and playing around outside. We headed home later that night.
There you have it, my Easter weekend. Having this week off from school was exactly what I needed and I am extremely thankful that I was able to put the stresses of this semester in the back of my head for a couple of days. The weather was great and definitely good for the winter blues. I often talk about mental health on my blog and for anyone who is in a similar situation as me, think about getting away for a weekend. It is so rewarded. Do everything you can to make it possible. You can’t be successful if you’re constantly spreading yourself so thin, *you* time is something we all need.
Thatās all for todayās post. I would love to hear how your Easter Sunday was in the comments below! My thankfulness for your support is endless. Donāt forget to leave links to your blogs and instas, as I would love to check them out and follow you all and connect more. As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment, I am more than happy to talk to you lovelies! Sending lots of love and positive thoughts to you guys. Xo.
Stay chic,
