Hi, friends.
Welcome back to my little corner of the internet. Today I’m here to share post #6 of LEXTOBER. I’m so glad that you stopped by. Thankfully midterm week is over and it’s a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I’m heading to a football game later and have tomorrow off from both jobs. It’s a good weekend! But before I get to my evening activities, I wanted to write a quick outfit post. Get your cups of coffee ready and enjoy!
Jeans: American Eagle
Boots: Marshalls ($24.99)
Sweater: Tjmaxx ($12.00)
Where you lead, I will folloOoOoOOw… Okay, so is anyone else a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan like me? Funny enough, I used to watch this show every day when I came home from middle school on ABCfamily because it was always on and back then that’s what ya did as a kid. And to be completely honest, I never really liked the show, it wasn’t until I started rewatching it from the beginning on Netflix in my college years. I quickly started to love Lorelai and Rory and their relationship, as well as the rest of the characters… especially Kirk. Now, I’m hooked! I always have it playing in the background when I’m doing homework or cleaning my room. I hope to live in a cute little town like Stars Hollow one day where my coffee from a local diner is my fuel.
So since fall and Gilmore Girls go together like a match made in heaven, I thought it would be a perfect time to order my “Luke’s” T-shirt from Amazon and wear it out. I ordered a size large in this tee and cut and cropped it right after I got it in the mail. It was under $15 and the quality is great, it’s more of a vintage looking t-shirt with a soft material. Plus, this could be perfect if you want to be Luke from Gilmore girls for Halloween! *hint hint* I love graphic tees and cardigans together, so I already had this outfit envisioned before the shirt even arrived in the mail. I definitely have a feeling the Gilmore Girls would approve of this look.
Well, looks like it’s time for me to get back to work and then get ready for my school’s football game. I hope y’all got cozy and enjoyed today’s post. I cannot wait to share more posts in this October Series of mine. My thankfulness for your support is endless. Don’t forget to leave links to your blogs and instas, as I would love to check them out and follow you all and connect more. As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment. Go Dukes! Xoxo.
Stay chic,
Lexi 🌻
