Welcome back or welcome if you’re new here. I’m Lex and I’m so glad you decided to stop by. I spoke briefly about this at the end of October, but today is day #1 of Lexmas! For those of you who don’t know, I put a poll out on my Insta at the beginning of the month see what y’all would rather have… me posting periodically throughout the month or to do the 12 days of Lexmas to count down until of Christmas. Our winner was Lexmas! I was actually kind of happy about it because I knew the last couple weeks of the semester were going to be tough and when I set a goal like this I tend to be a little more strict with myself on getting my posts up!
So, since we last talked, I finished up my classes for the semester and WOW did that fly by. I can’t believe I’m already one semester in at Duquesne. Well, almost. I’m currently in the middle of finals, but we’re rolling on through and will be done on the 18th! I’m so excited for a break and to blog my little heart out with y’all for the next 12 days. So in honor of our first day of Lexmas, I have an outfit post for y’all with Christmas colors as its theme. So, friends, grad your coffee or tea, some comfy socks and let’s hop right into Lexmas day 1!

Surprisingly enough, I did not own a sweater this color so when I saw it on Shein’s website I knew I needed to add it to my closet. I was a little nervous about it because it was a color I’ve never really worn but I thought it would pair well with the red plaid coat that I already had from Shein. I knew the combo would look perfect for the holiday season and boy was right! This has to be one of my favortie sweaters from Shein just because of how soft and cozy it is. It’s so well made and comfier than any sweater I own. Plus, it has a most perfect turtleneck, which is something hard to find. I love turtlenecks but sometimes they can’t help but give you 7 chins and makes you feel like you can’t breathe, don’t ya think?
Plus, it’s no secret that I hate the cold, so sweaters like this are a must for me. I’m thinking I might just have to order it in some other colors too!
