Hi, friends.
Y’all I had the best weekend because I finally got the chance to go strawberry picking! This is something I’ve been wanting to do for years and never was able to make it. I don’t know how it is in other places around the world, but strawberry picking at our local farm only last for a week or so. So, not a wide range of days to go. Luckily, this year I was finally able to make it and I got to go with another blogging friend (*inset Kaylee’s blog here* because y’all should check her out). It was too much fun and I definitely recommend this to everyone. It’s perfect for friends or even as a fun date idea! Plus, you get to eat them after you pick ’em! Too much fun. So grab yourself a cup of something warm (or iced) on this beautiful sunny day and keep on reading!
Dress, Hat, Shoes
Kaylee and I set a date to go to our local farm (Simmon’s Farm to be exact) and we both knew we wanted to dress cute. I saw this gingham hat at Target and knew immediately that I needed it for strawberry picking. It just screamed a sunny afternoon to me! As for the outfit, I’m sure y’all already guessed I’d be wearing a dress. I can’t help it. Dresses are perfect for everything. Kaylee looked super adorbs in her overalls!
So here’s how Strawberry picking works at this farm. You pull in and park (duh lex), walk over to the main entrance of the Market and tell them you want to go strawberry picking. They give you a little basket. Then, you hop on a free hayride over to the strawberry fields. You can fill your basket up as much as you want and when you ride over back to the market, that’s when you pay based on weight. We both filled our baskets up for around $9 each! So inexpensive and such a fun thing to do.
Well, that’s all for today’s post. I hope y’all loved these photos as much as I did. My thankfulness for your support is endless. Don’t forget to leave links to your blogs and instas, as I would love to check them out and follow you all and connect more. As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment.
Xoxo,
