Hi, friends.
Happy Wednesday y’all! We’re halfway through the week and it’s been nothing but beautiful today. I’m loving these perfect fall days, loving LexTober, and loving spooky movies always being on TV.
Being that I’m only 5’2, I have to watch wearing longer pieces or they’ll drag on the ground. I have a feeling this an issue for most girls — or at least us short gals. I’ve always been such a huge fan of midi skirts and midi dresses for this very reason. I always get into a routine of only wearing jeans once the temperatures drop. While I was looking through my clothing rack, I thought I could easily transition a dress or two into a fall look this season.
Outfit Details: Dress, Sweater, Booties
I took a mock neck sweater from H&M which perfectly pulled out the florals in the dress. I used the tie at the waist to tuck up the sweater, which makes it more flattering. It’s an easy way to transition spring pieces that you love, and even if you’re not a fan of the sweater look, throw on some booties to any midi dress with fall colors and wear it just like that!
I bought this dress last June for a graduation party and it was perfect for the occasion, but I’m obsessed with how the sweater looks with it and definitely will be doing this all season with other dresses.
Well, friends. That’s all for today’s post. My thankfulness for your support is endless.
