Hi, friends.
I hope everyone had a spooky first weekend in October. My boyfriend and I went to go grab some lunch. I wanted to decorate my porch, but it got pushed back because we stumbled upon a fall festival up on Mount Washington. So we had to stop by and see what it was all about! It was so beautifully decorated and gave me the perfect opportunity for some pictures, which obviously made my LexTober heart was so happy.
I mentioned in my last blog post that the weather is taking its time hitting the chilly fall temperatures. I love the sunshine that comes with it, but it’s a tad too hot for me in the month of October. I keep reaching for fall clothes in my closet and it’s leaving me sweating and uncomfortable. My best tip, layer and layer and layer. Too hot? Take off a layer. Chilly? Add on a cardigan.
Outfit details: Flannel, Jeans, Hat, Boots
I grabbed a flannel, jeans, booties and I was ready to tackle the day. These boots were a Gabe’s find and under $20. I’m so into chunky boots this year! Anyone else? I’m short and they give me some height but they’re comfortable and practical. A win-win. Honestly, wearing trendy heeled “booties” to a pumpkin patch was always a bad idea, but with these babies, I can run around without a worry!

Well, friends. That’s all for today’s post. The festival was so cute and cozy, I’m so happy we happened to drive by it! My thankfulness for your support is endless. Don’t forget to leave links to your blogs and instas, as I would love to check them out and follow you all and connect more. As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment. Sending lots of love and positive thoughts to you guys now and always.
