Hi, friends.
We have lots to catch up on. Life seems to just keep on moving, but it’s all so exciting. As of May, Mitchell and I are officially home owners. After about a year of looking for a perfect starter home, we finally found one that not only met all our wants, it exceeded them. We have two acres to run around, 4 bathrooms which means we will no longer be fighting over who uses the toilet first, and an amazing wrap around deck and covered front porch. We have rooms to grow into, big & bright windows, and a newly installed AC unit that we may or may not have had to replaced two weeks into being home owners.
We’ve definitely took some time to make it our own by adding in flooring, painting, and other small updates through out, but it’s all coming together now. There’s still lots to be done, but it’s all part of the home owner process and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy this. There is something so satisfying about working hard on your own house.
With a new house means it’s time for a new home tour ✨ so grab yourself a cup of something caffeinated and let’s jump into my new home!
So what do you think? Quite the upgrade from my previous townhouse, If ya ask me! I’m in love with the big windows and I can’t wait to watch the leaves change over the next few weeks. As we continue to finish things, I’ll share some before and afters so you can get an idea on the changes we’ve made.
