Blogging Mug #DIY ☕️☕️

Hey loves! 🙆🏼💛🌸

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Friday and even better start to your weekend! Recently on my Instagram timeline a girl that I follow posted a picture of a cute mug that said “Blogging Day” I instantly fell in love with it! She told me she got it at Francesca’s so I looked it up online and it’s sold there for $12.. Which really isn’t a lot of money, but to spend on a mug?! That’s too much if you ask me! So I started to think… Hey wait! I should try to make my own mug instead and guess what.. that’s exactly what I did!

I bought two mugs at pacatans, but really you could purchase a mug anywhere! I paid $1.49 for each and then bought oil based sharpie markers for $2 and that was it! A little over $3 is better than $12. It’s also extremely fun to get creative! 😁

All you have to do for this DIY is draw on the mugs whatever you’d like (ps if you mess up, you can wipe off the sharpie with nail polish remover) Then, bake your mug in the oven at 420 degrees for 30 minutes. You do this so the sharpie will be set in and won’t wash off the mug after you wash it! When the 30 minutes is up let your mug cool for a little until you’re able to pick it up so it doesn’t crack. That’s it, you’re all set with your cute little mug! It’s that simple guys! 🙆🏼☕️

Here’s the original mug:

These are my results! I think they come pretty close in comparison and I saved a few dollars too! 🙆🏼☕️  I highly recommend try this out my beauties!

Well, that’s all I have for this post today! Thank you so much to all my followers for following me through my blogging journey! I mean it, you all mean the world to me! 💛 Don’t forget to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment! Now get to you DIYin y’all! I’ll be talking to you all soon. xoxo. 💋

Stay chic,

Lexi 🌻
