10 Inexpensive Summer Date Ideas πŸŒžπŸΏπŸŽ‘🎒🎠

Hey loves! πŸ’›πŸŒΈπŸŒ»πŸ™†πŸΌπŸ’

How’s everyone day going? Faboulous I hope! If you follow me on social media you’d know that on July 12th it was my six year anniversary with my boyfriend! Haha, right?! Six flipping years. That’s crazy to me! I was laying in bed last night and this idea popped in my head for a blog post so of course I had to plan it out this morning. These are just a few of my favorite date ideas that I wanted to share with you guys! Ok ok ok Let’s get started lovelies πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«πŸ’«

1. Coffee Date β˜•οΈβ˜•οΈβ˜•οΈ

Of course I would say this as number 1! πŸ˜‚β˜•οΈIt’s so much fun to try out new cafes and go with your boyfriend/girlfriend and just talk about your day. If both of your schedules are busy, this will make it nice for both of you to unwind and talk about your day, week, etc. I also feel with technology advancing as it is we lose sight of auctually having conversations in person, you know? Nothing beats one on one convos over some good coffee! Plus, this is something that’s inexpensive so it can be done regularly!

2. Walks in the park/ Picnic πŸžπŸžπŸ‰

I love to do active things through out the day and sometimes when I’m stressed out or feeling down, a little walk in the park with my boyfriend will fix that right up! There’s parks everywhere and if not, find an area you feel safe and walk around! You can go to all kinds of different parks and it’s free! Bring a picnic basket with some good food packed in it and run around like kids. It’ll be so much fun, I promise!

3. Go swimming🏊🏽

I have a pool in my back yard but even if you don’t, there’s always public pools around the area to go to! They’re typically not more than $10. Or find some friends who have a pool and make it a couples thing!

4. Go shopping πŸ›

Actually, to contrary belief this is a lot of fun. It’s one of the things I like to do with my boyfriend because I’m able to get ideas on what to get him for future gifts by him showing me the things he likes, but wouldn’t buy himself.. You know? He’s the pickiest person ever. I’m not even kidding, guys. He’s so picky, this date idea is always helpful for me.  Also, you don’t have to spend money doing this, you could just window shop!

5. Have a fireπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸŒ™

Guuuuyyyyyyyys nothing is more fun than sitting around the fire and making s’mores or moutian pies with the boy or gal who you love!

6. Breakfast DatesπŸ³β˜•οΈπŸ΄

Okay, so we all know dinner dates are an easy “go to” date idea, but let’s make this more of a thing. I LOVE breakfast food and I LOVE going to breakfast diners. Who wouldn’t be down for this?!

7. Nextflix & Chill πŸ–₯🍿

And I’m mean that literally !! My boyfriend and I love to find tv series on Netflix and binge watch them together. I bet you and yours would love it too! It’s a great excuse to watch the scarier shows too so you won’t be alone if you’re scared *cough cough* Mikey.

8. Go to the Zoo, Aquarium, Aviary, EtcπŸ―πŸ’πŸ˜πŸ†πŸŒžπŸ¦

This one is very basic, but it’s always so much fun. I never get bored of visiting these types of places. Usually if you’re a student, you’re able to get discounted tickets too!

9. Go to a Museum, Fesival, or Amusement Park in your city🎒🎑🎠

There’s always tons of different things going on in the summer in my area. You just have to go out there and find them! Recently my boyfriend and I went to the children’s Muesam with his cousins and we had so much fun.

10. Drive Inns/ Outdoor Movie πŸŒŒπŸ“½πŸŽž

What’s a better spin off from the basic date idea of going to the movies?? I’ll tell ya… going the Drive Inns and feeling like your in the 1950s, it gives you a taste of what our grandparents dates were like.  I also love watching a movie in a park on a big screen. You’ll be laying on a blanket with your own snacks on a warm summer night?! Sounds perfect to me.

I have been doing these date ideas for awhile now and they never seem to get boring to me. I know this may be corny to some people, but I wanted to share it! *Ps. If you don’t have a boyfriend, do these with your best friend instead! I know it may seem like relationships are all sun shines and rainbows from how it may look on social media (#relationshipgoals), but every relationship has their tough times and their fights.. Especially after six years you’re going to have your fair share πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ But everything works out how it’s suppose to in life. Don’t worry about getting a boyfriend/girlfriend if you don’t have one at the moment. It’ll happen when you least expect it! I hope you all enjoyed this post in honor of my six year anniversary πŸ’›

To go along with this I have a little life update for y’all! Next week I’m leaving for vacation with my boyfriend.. I can’t wait! I have some blog posts planned for you guys and I’m SO excited to share some of my week lookbooks because I’ve been working hard on them!

Alright my loves, that’s all I have for this post today. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you’re new here, welcome! Feel free to stop back anytime since I post randomly. πŸ˜‹ Don’t forget to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment! Enjoy your day beauites. I’ll be talking to you all soon. xoxo. πŸ’‹

Stay chic,

Lexi 🌻
