Life Hacks To Get Ready FAST + a Good Morning! ⏰☀️☕️

Good morning, I hope you’re all having a happy day! It feels like we haven’t talked in forever about something other than #ootds and I am so happy to be sitting here with you all today.

This week has been so chaotic, but with it almost being the middle of October, it feels so good to be fully into my school and work routine. Although, I’m sure you’re all feeling the “schools not exciting anymore I really don’t want to wake up.. Snooze button.. Snooze button..” kind of feels in the morning like I have been feeling. Let me tell ya’ll the struggle bus has been very real. I’ve been waking up later and later and running out the door basically spilling my coffee. I’m sure I’m not the only gal feeling this way so I thought why not make a blog post on my tips on how I have a better morning and some life hacks to get ready fast since I clearly need to remind myself of them! Without further ado, let’s get started!

1. Prepare the night before!

Pick out your outfit, clean your room, pack your book bag, set out your jewelry, get your coffee cup ready, set up your make-up, shower, etc! This is number one in my opinion to have a better morning. I know I sleep so much better when I have these things prepared because I know how my mornings will go, I feel in control! I won’t be ready to jump out my window because I can’t find a lid to my cup or my outfit doesn’t work. You know? #justgirlythings

Also, along with the topic of preparing the night before, make sure you have all of your homework and studying done. If you’re trying to convince yourself at night that you’ll do it in the morning, you gotta already take the L for that one. You and I both know we’re not going to leave our cozy bed earlier to finish that homework.. girlfrand do it at night, no excuses !!

2. A quick natural make-up look!

On days I’m running late I just wear my glasses and don’t bother with my contacts. Wearing my glasses kind of hides my sleepy eyes, so all the make up I need to wear is some foundation and powder to cover up my imperfections. I usually fill in my eyebrows just a little bit which only takes a second!

3. Go to sleep/wake-up the same time

I know this one is a little hard because life gets in the way and we all have different weekend actvities, but I find myself feeling so much better when I allow myself to adapt to a normal sleep/morning schedule. DO NOT hit that snooze button either, trust me! It’ll just make you cranky and no one wants to feel that way. If you’re one who struggles to go to sleep at a decent hour, allow your mind time to relax, put your phone down, make some herbal tea, watch your favorite movie. I find it makes me tired when I watch a movie I’ve seen before because I really don’t pay much attention to it because I know what’s going to happen and 20 minutes in I find myself yawning like no other. Give this idea a try, you’ll be ready to hit the hay in no time at all!

4. Make a playlist

I’ve seen a lot of youtubers do this and I decided to give it a go for myself and I love it. Go through your music and set a playlist with songs in which it’s timing adds up to the exact time you have to get ready in the morning, you’ll eventually memorize what song you should be on for each step in the morning and you’ll know when you need to get your booty moving if you’re slacking with time. 5. Quick Bedhead hair fix

When i’m running late an easy hair fix is a cute messy bun on the top of my head. As well as, if I don’t have much time and I still want to look like I put effort in to my hair, i’ll put my hair into a high ponytail and curl the ends of my hair with my wand, spray a little bit of hairspray, take out the ponytail, and i’ll have effortless big sexy curls! This hack never fails and never takes more than 3 minutes!

And of course, I can’t forget to give you guys a little ootd for this beautiful Friday morning! I love this flannel dress so much and since it was a little chilly the cardigan added some warmth!
