Hi hi hi loves! 🌸🌸🌸
Good afternoon my lovely WordPress friends! I hope you’re all having the best Friday ever, I sure know I am! The sun is shinning today too and I don’t know how anyone couldn’t be happy! AnywhooooOOooOoO, here’s a little life update for ya’ll, I finished up my classes for today and now I’m on Thanksgiving break for a week. I wanted to apologize for the lack of a couple of my normal posts the past two weeks, I’ve been pushing through school and of course school comes first always. It’s been worth it because my grades are all fabulous! Now, I’m super excited to have a break and be able to catch up with my friends and family as well as be able to do some fun things for myself! Thanksgiving is such a yummy yummy in my tummy kind of holiday, amiright?! Then, theres Black Friday shopping which ya’ll already know I’m all about finding good deals! Although, I normally end up shopping for myself rather than other people, lol whoops.
Also, I am introducing new series to my blog because I really love this idea and this previous post was one of my most popular here on WordPress! Plus, staying healthy through the holidays is kinda tough. So let me introduce it to ya’ll.. It’s going to be called “Happiness & a Healthy lifestyle”. With these posts I’m going to be sporadically posting pictures talking about my “healthy” meals of the day and then talk to you guys a little more personally about what’s going on in my life, or some struggles I face that I’ve learned to overcome, or some happy experiences! Just a way for all of us to get healthy mentally and physically together! I’m super excited about these posts and I hope you love them as much as I do! Without further ado, let’s get started!
So in my opinion, if you’ve been feeling down or tired lately, try this! One of the best ways I find for myself to be happier starts with what I’m eating! Fueling your body with good food will make you feel better and I’m an example of that! I, like many other college students, find it hard to eat healthy because it’s expensive and it’s simply easier and more time effective to eat on the unhealthy side with already made meals. I’ve noticed that if I eat better, I’ll feel energized and won’t be pigging out before bed because that’s not the best for your body! I took some photos of what I ate yesterday to share with you all, feel free to let me know your thoughts!
Breakfast:
Whole Wheat Bagel Thin with cream cheese, a banana, and then a bottle of water. Also, I made sure I drank the entire bottle of water because water is sososososo good for your body!
Lunch:
Reduced Fat crackers, Sharpe cheddar cheese slices, pepperoni slices, and then green tea. I wasn’t super hungry when it came to lunch actually, so I ate my version of a cracker lunch-able because it was easy, quick, and filling! Green tea has caffeine in it, so it’s a good pick me up when you’re feeling a little sleepy.
Dinner:
Zucchini spaghetti, a salad with Italian dressing and croutons, and then a cup of water! My favorite food in the entire world is spaghetti but we all know, too many carbs aren’t the best for your body. This is a great alternative to that and it’s easy as heck to make! It’s low calories and makes eating your veggies easy as well. I googled different recipes and I’m excited to try more!
All of this was filling and extremely yummy! It’s a healthier option rather than a drivethru, some frozen meal or something from the vending machine which is kind of the life of a college student!
Well that’s all for today’s post. I hope you all enjoyed this new post idea of mine, it was really fun to create! Overall, I’m hoping after each post I’ll get better and better and we can become healthy together! Don’t forget to leave links to your blogs, instagrams, twitters, tumblrs, etc as I would love to check them out and follow you all and connect more! As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment, I am more than happy to talk to you lovelies! Thank you so much for reading and visiting, my thankfulness for your support is endless. I hope you all have the best night. Talk to y’all soon! Xoxo.
Stay chic,
Lexi

I totally agree eating good makes ALL the difference. I mean I haven’t had fast food in YEARS but i remember how sluggish and gross it makes you feel opposed to eating something nutritional that actually boosts your energy. I must admit though drinking water is my downfall. I rarely drink anything (crazy, I know) but if i do drink anything it is water, unless its tea or coffee. My boyfriend always yells at me and forces me to drink more so I’ve been making it habit to consume more water daily. thanks for the inspirational healthy post!!
