Hi beauties!
It’s so gratifying to be siting here talking to you all again. I’ve missed you beauty queens. I’m very happy to share that finals are over for me and I am officially on Christmas break as of Monday afternoon! I finished with all As this semester and I couldn’t be more proud on myself. On top of that, Christmas is only 5 days away! How crazy?! Before we know it, it’ll be warm outside *fingers crossed* (Because you guys know how much the winter bums me out) !!
Anyways, last Saturday I went to my annual “Friendsmas” Christmas party and I thought it would be fun for me to share with you guys how I did my make-up incase ya’ll needed some inspiration for over the holidays. SO feel free to follow my look throughout my step by step pictures and leave any questions you have in the comments below. Without further ado, let’s get started!
First off, Here’s a photo of all the different types of make-up I used to successfully create this look.
To start off any make-up look I always apply my normal foundation routine. You gotta cover up those dark circles from all the long nights of studying for finals!
Then, I did a natural looking smokey eye from my naked palette, it looked very soft and feminine. After that, I contoured my face with my Anastasia Contour Kit (Light to medium). I used the two middle colors in the palette. I did it very soft as well because In my opinion less make-up looks better on me!
After that, I did a small line of liquid eyeliner on the top of my eyelid. I curled my lashes a couple times with an eyelash curler and then proceeded with a few layers of my all time favorite mascara.
To complete any stunning Christmas look, I added a bold red lip stain. I think the color red is so elegant and festive. My biggest tip with red lipstick since it is so bold, don’t go crazy-o with the rest of your make-up so the look stays elegant and chic!
I light curled my hair and stretched out the curls with my fingers, threw on some leggings and a turtle neck. Then I added some more festive red to my look by throwing on this adorable red shall/poncho. It was soSOsoSO comfy and kept me warm through out the night. It was kind of like wearing a blanket around my neck all night!
Here some photos from my “Friendsmas” Party!
