Hi friends! 💛😇🌻
Welcome back to my blog my beautiful readers. I’m so thrilled to be sitting here writing to you all again. In celebration of my Spring semester starting up this week, my friend and I have made it our new tradition to go out and celebrate this fresh start by doing something fun and exciting. This time we went out and had a yummy lunch, snagged some good deals, and shared conversation over our all time favorite lattes from our favorite coffee shop. Idealistically, this is one of my favorite things to do. In other news, the point of this blog post is to share with you all my outfit details of the day and give you a little blog update, so without further ado let’s get started!
Sweater: Forever 21 ($12.99)
Jeans: American Eagle
Boots: Marshalls ($24.99)
Coat: Nordstroms —> Burlington ($79.99)
Caramel Latte (What else would I be drinking?!)
So for this traditional “girls day” my friend and I had, I wore the most snuggly sweater EVER. It’s easily the warmest and comfiest sweater I own – hands down! Plus, it’s a turtle neck which gives you extra warmth as well as a triple chin, but you can’t win ’em all. Lol. I have this sweater in this dark army green color and in a maroon color as well. It was chilly outside so this snuggly sweater was obviously a must. Since the sweater was plain I paired it with these extra ripped jeans. They kinda have two tones of jean shades going on. I thought they paired together nicely since the jeans were super busy compared to the plain sweater. I love my buckled black booties and haven’t worn them in awhile so I decided to pull them out of my closet for this outfit! As for my puffer coat, I’m ob-freakin-sessed with it. Aside from the furry detachable hood, the army green color, and the warm velvet pockets, my favorite part about this jacket would be that it cinches at the waist. I always hated puffer coats for that fact that I didn’t want to look like I’m walking around in a sleeping bag, but I definitely don’t because of the waist line! My boyfriend found it for me at a Burlington Coat Factory a little further away from my area and he did a great job because I was on the hunt for the perfect winter coat and wasn’t having any luck. When I looked the coat up to read reviews from other people, I found out that it on sale right now at Nordstrom’s for $200. I couldn’t believe how much of a great deal I got for it! So word of advice for all you fashionistas, don’t always check department stores first.. or it may cost ya! Anyways, I love this outfit so much and I felt like this look made me belong in a coffee shop, dontcha think?!
Hair: During the early week of January I got a few inches of my hair cut off and some layers put in, this was one of the first days since then that I actually straightened it. It feels and looks so healthy after it being damaged from being blonde for so long! I was sad to see the length go, but I love having healthy hair again.
Makeup: I used my new ByeBye Under Eye concealer that I received the other day in my Ipsy bag, it’s very full coverage but I think I’m liking it since I do have darker circles around my eyes. My eyeshadow in from my Maybelline Nudes palette which I believe was around $10.00 and I use it all the time! Aside from my normal foundation routine, I finished the makeup look off with some liquid eyeliner, my favorite mascara, and my new favorite lip product called Dopey by Colourpop. It’s the perfect shade of pink for everyday wear and their products are beyond affordable and amazing quality! Overall, I loved everything about this look. 🙂
Blogging Schedule: Okay, so guys I have a new blogging schedule update for you all as promised. Since I will now be going to school Monday-Friday, I’m going to switch my blogging days to Tuesday and Thursdays since that will work better with my school schedule! I’m very excited to be back on track with a blogging schedule as I’m sure my readers are too.
