Hello loves! ☀️😊💛
Good morning, I hope you’re all having a happy start to your day! Gosh, It feels like we haven’t talked in forever. Which makes me extra happy to be sitting here talking with you all. I’ve recently come across some technical difficulties with my camera and my laptop working together, which totally bums me out because I “prep filmed” my blog posts while I had extra time knowing that my weeks are hectic with school, work, studying, trying to have a social life, and getting a workout in too. I hope to get this problem fixed soon so I can share more posts. But other than that I am now in my 4th week of my Spring semester and I can finally say that I am now feeling back into a normal routine. I thought for today’s post I would show you all my Sunday night school routine that I’ve fallen into over the past few weeks through some photos so you guys can kinda get a feel of what I do! I’m excited to share this post and I hope you all love it! Okay, so without further ado, let’s get started!
My night routine starts off like most people’s… I come home from where ever I was (work, friends, gym, shopping, etc) and start off by cleaning up my room from the mess I normally make during the weekend. After that I hop into the shower real quick and come back to my room and get into my Pjs. I do my nightly things like taking off my makeup, taking out my contacts, brushing my hair, putting lotion on, and all that fun stuff. Then I prepare myself for the morning ahead of me full of classes. I pick out my outfit, get my school things ready, get my lemon water and a snack ready so I can easily throw it in my book bag as I’m rushing out of the door in the morning. After all of that, I normally make myself a cup of herbal tea and head back to my room. I put on my Christmas lights, light candles, and plan out my week ahead of me in my planner. This is something I learned that I must do in order to make sure I’ve completed everything that was due for my classes. Not too long after that I find myself getting into bed, I normally put something on the tv as background noise and either go on my laptop or my phone for a little bit. I love to to use my essential oil defuser at night so I normally turn that on and when It gets to be around 11, 11:30 I’m usually about ready to hit the hay with my pup snuggled up next to me! I try to go to bed around the same time every night if possible. It makes my mornings a lot more enjoyable when i’m well rested.
I love my sleep and it’s so important to get a good nights rest every single night to be a successful student. I’ve found that when I know I have things prepared I sleep way better and don’t feel rushed in the morning. Everything just falls into place when you get things done. I highly recommend trying to create a nightly routine for yourself, it’s the best thing I could’ve done to do well in school!
Well loves, that’s all for today’s post! I hope you enjoyed my Sunday night routine and don’t forget to leave links to your blogs and instas, as I would love to check them out and follow you all and connect more. As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment, I am more than happy to talk to you lovelies! Sending lots of love and positive thoughts to you guys. Xoxo.
Stay chic,
Lexi
