Hi friends,
Happy Wednesday. I hope this week has been treating you all well so far. Gosh, I am SO happy to be writing on here again. Today is my last final of the semester and these past few months has been a whirlwind, mentally and emotionally. I’m upset to admit this, but I’m genuinely glad this semester is over. It was one of the roughest semesters I have had to endear thus far in my college career, too many inevitable things happened to make it a huge challenge for me to stay afloat. I had to withdraw from a course for the first time ever in my life and that within itself is draining. I truly hope none of my readers felt the way I did, but if you felt similar, well then hey… here we are. We got through it. We took it one day, good and bad, and pushed through. There’s a reason the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror, where we are going is so much better than where we have been. Right, ladies?
I didn’t mean for this post to turn into a life rant, but I love including my personal thoughts and emotions in each blog post. I believe the biggest issue with social media is people only showing the good or people who brag about their non-existent perfect lives. Which ends in a result of constant comparing and low self-esteem and you all know that’s not what I want to promote on here or any of my social media platforms. A lot of people have issues understanding the reality behind the photos, I personally don’t want to play into that and want my readers to see my life as exactly how it is. Being genuine is the best and most important quality for a blogger/social media influencer. Don’t you think?
Anyway, for this post, I partnered up with SheIn! This post is long overdue and I’m happy to finally be writing it. I hope you gals love it. First off, I’m not exaggerating when I say that this sweater is my favorite sweater of all time. It’s actually my favorite article of clothing that I own. I’ve worn it so many times in so many different ways already and I only received it in the mail over a month ago. The quality is absolutely amazing and the fit is perfect. The sleeves are long and the sweater is pretty thick to keep the warmth in but flowy and movable. Plus, this burnt orange color is to die for! (Ps. If you don’t like the color it comes in cream and black too, but I’m team orange 100%) Since it is a little on the shorter side, on the colder days I wore a cami underneath and tucked it into my jeans. It kept me warm every time!
Sweater: SheIn
Jeans: Hollister ($25.00)
Boots: Wet Seal
Scarf: Altar’d State – Gabes ($3.99)
It’s no secret that I love clothes and I love shopping, especially if I’m having a bad day. I enjoy the search for a good deal to hopefully turn around my mood and it almost always works. I’m not kidding when I say this sweater helped me push through this semester. I felt so beautiful and cozy every time I wore it. I toured potential colleges to transfer to and wore this sweater. I feel like it brought me motivation and confidence all wrapped up in its waffle knit turtleneck, as silly as that sounds, I am thankful for it. It’s the little things in life, I’m telling ya.
Similar to last time I ordered from SheIn, the package arrived in less than a week. The quality was amazing, the size was “one-size” and the overall experience just keeps getting better and better. I love collabing with SheIn.com and I know you gals will love to shop the site too. Click the link (SheIn.com) and check out all the trendy and affordable pieces they have to offer, I promise you’ll find something you love and the price will be right! Feel free to leave me a comment below and tell me if you checked out the website!
That’s all in today’s post. It felt so good to sit down and write on here. I needed this. My thankfulness for your support is endless. As well as a huge thank you to SheIn for sending me this sweater, it was truly my lifesaver through these stressful months. Don’t forget to leave links to your blogs and instas, as I would love to check them out and follow you all and connect more. As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment. Sending lots of love and positive thoughts to you guys now and always. Let’s kick the rest of our final’s butts. We’ll talk soon. Xoxo.
Stay chic,
