What I Eat in a Day | Healthy Lifestyle

Hi, Y’all.

Happy Friday and hell-freaking-o to the weekend! It seems like I’ve been living for the weekends this semester (ugh) but ya girl just crossed off week number 8… graduation will be here before I know it. Anyone else feeling this way? Maybe when the weather finally starts feeling like spring, classes won’t feel as much of a drag.

Anyways, this year I told myself that I’d eat out less and eat healthier meals in general. Aside from being sick and eating randomly, it’s been going as planned. I’m not a health freak and I’m not good at restricting myself from foods, but I’m fine with choosing the better option when it comes to eating, which for me, means no pizza or chicken nuggets from Chick-Fil-A. I find that during the winter time, I lose track of how bad I’m eating and when spring rolls around, I watch more and exercise regularly.

I don’t know about you guys, but I love watching “What I eat in a day” videos and finding new recipes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely a foodie who enjoys all things pasta and cheese, but I’ve decided to make healthier choices. This is something I do around this time every year and I’m always happy with the results of my weight and all around my health. So without further ado, let’s get into my meals!

Breakfast

Hot black tea, scrambled eggs, toast, strawberries

Lunch

Pasta salad, strawberries, pretzels with peanut butter, water

Dinner

Water, BBQ grilled chicken, rice, green beans

Eating healthy for me is the little things, like only drinking water, tea or coffee without any added sugar (yes lex, that means no more lattes from Dunkin every day), eat more fruits and vegetables, eat less fried food and junk in general. I find this works the best for myself and I hope you guys find it helpful! If you have any meal ideas that are easy, feel free to let me know!
