Hi, friends!
Happy Thursday! It’s another sunny day and I’m glad to be back here writing to Y’all again. Since I’ve been slacking so much with my blog posts this semester, I figured my readers wouldn’t be against reading another post today. Here’s an overdue #ootd from my latest Shein virtual shopping trip. In case you didn’t know, Shein.com is a website that has the trendiest pieces at great prices, everything about this website is legit and I have never had a bad experience. I love this Shein and I love working with them. I hope you gals enjoy today’s post!
Dress: Shein ($20.00)
Shoes: Marshalls ($19.99)
Purse: Kate Spade
As you guys know, from time to time, I score big time on Shein.com. You know what I’m talking about. That feeling when wading/crawling/combing through the craziness results in finding that killer piece for an even better price point? The absolute best thing ever! Nowadays, ever since good stores moved out of my neighborhood mall (RIP Century III), I’ve actually made a turning point for shopping over to websites and always have better luck doing this. I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s really the best way to shop for trendy pieces, Y’all. Everything is much more organized, well laid-out, and you can see how the items look on a person and unedited body shapes in the reviews under the items. Oh, and did I mention you can do it all from the comfort of your pajamas? That’s what we call a win, win gals.
On my latest virtual visit, I came across this $20 frayed plaid dress, the proper name is “Houndstooth Tweed”, but plaid sounds better to me. Needless to say, I feel like I hit the jackpot! Plaid dresses are such a trend this season, but I’ve had difficulty finding it in pieces that still make me feel feminine. From the frayed hem to the gorgeous plaid detailing, this dress does just that. To top it off, my favorite mules from marshalls easily completes the look. I can’t wait to wear it out for any semi-professional things I have coming up!
Btw, If you’re looking to get this dress, I would recommend going a size down. It runs a little big. Anddddd if you’re obsessing over my hair as much as I am, refer to my previous post for details!
That’s all in today’s post. My thankfulness for your support is endless. As well as a huge thank you to Shein for sending me this adorable dress! Don’t forget to leave links to your blogs and instas, as I would love to check them out and follow Y’all and connect more. As always, feel free to shoot me a message with blog requests, to chat, or share a simple comment. Sending lots of love and positive thoughts to you guys now and always. Xoxo.
Stay chic,
