- My 1 Degree Down (hehe) – YES YES YES.
A few weeks back, I attended an event that I’ve been wanting to share with y’all and I couldn’t think of a better time than November, the month full of being extra thankful and here’s why; as many of you may know, I have been an advocate for self-love for years now. I love sharing my life and my tips, whether it be about fashion, shopping, school, eating, or life in general. I have always wanted nothing more than to help spread that love with anyone who decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. There is too much hate, comparison and all around negativity on social media and in the world we live in. We all know this, yet we continue to allow it in our minds. I may not be able to change the world, but I can do my part. Which is why LexRayn.com is here. I keep things real with y’all and share everything from my heart. There is no time for hate here. So join me and Sabika in spreading love and grattitude.

“A company by women for women, our jewelry is made for every woman, every day. Sabika was founded with the intent of bringing beauty, joy and opportunity to women of all ages and diverse backgrounds, and delivers a new level of fun and sophistication to the home party experience.”

As soon as I walked into Sabika Headquarters, I felt completely welcomed and that’s important to me. It was such a warm environment in the building and I was so happy to be there. This event gave me the opportunity to meet and connect with many other local bloggers. I got to see and try on all their jewelry (I wanted to buy everything) and have a couple drinks and snacks. We were given a tour and learned the history of the company. They ended the night with us girls all just sitting around talking about different things in our lives and I absolutely loved everything about it, real and genuine conversations with strangers yet somehow connected. The night ended with each of us getting little gift bags with two items in it. One for us, and one for us to give to someone else. The white bag was for us and the black bag was for someone else. How sweet. Sabika reminded me how important it is to be grateful and how important it is to give back. During the month of November, they are having a campaign called #GiveSabikaLOVE and it’s all about showing their gratitude and I am more than happy to support it.
As soon as they mentioned giving the second gift away, I knew exactly who I was going to give mine to. My little sister, of course. Not only is she my best friend and my rock through everything, but she is also my photographer the majority of the time when it comes to blogging and has been for years. (and now my LICENSED hairdresser btw !!!!) She’s always helped me with everything in life and I knew I wanted to give this gift to her. When I got home, I opened my little white bag and fell in love… YELLOW EARNINGS. They couldn’t have picked out a better pair of earrings for me. My sister’s gift was almost an opal color and she loved them! Both of us love dainty earrings so it was perfect. Thank you, Sabika, for giving me the ability to give back to my little sister. Thank you for the beautiful event. Thank you for this campaign.
So here’s you’re Thursday evening reminder to not only be thankful but also don’t be afraid to give back to others. November is full of being thankful, let’s keep it going the rest on the months to come. xo.
Well, that’s all in today’s post. My thankfulness for your support is endless. Another HUGE thank you to Sabika.
