Hi, friends.
Don’t get me wrong, I love carving pumpkins every year and most definitely will be carving as we get closer to Halloween, but I’ve been dying to try painting pumpkins too!
It was a rainy Friday night and my boyfriend and I were looking for something to do. I knew I’ve been wanting to paint pumpkins and a rainy night in October sounded like the perfect evening to do so!
My sister, her boyfriend, and my cousin ended up coming over and we all enjoyed the evening getting creative. I made a cheese board and grabbed some wine. I bought the paint and brushes from Target and Michaels and we were set for a spooky evening.

All the paint and brushes were very affordable and we had more than enough for the 6 of us. We used paper plates to put the paint on and I definitely recommend getting a throwaway tablecloth for easy clean up after.
This is a perfect idea for anyone who doesn’t like the mess of carving or someone who simply wants some more fall activities to do at home! Get some wine, snacks, play some music, and enjoy a rainy fall evening with some friends. Don’t forget to add it to your front porch once it has dried.
So with that all being said, what pumpkin did you like the best? Did this inspire you to have a pumpkin painting party? Make sure to let me know in the comments below!
