Hi, friends.
It’s been a minute since we’ve last talked and I’ve missed writing to my LexRayn family so very much. A couple of major things have happened since I took my blogging “break” so grab yourself a cup of something caffeinated because I think it’s time I caught y’all up!

For starters, I officially graduated from Duquesne University. I finished my college career in December with my BSBA in Supply Chain Management and Digital Marketing & Analytics. Can you believe it? I still can’t. Typing those words just doesn’t seem real, but I’m SO beyond thankful to be done with school.

I also finished up my second internship in logistics shortly after graduation.
While in the last few months of my college career, I was busy with projects and interviewing for full-time positions. It was a lot hitting at once, but my main goal was to focus on school and graduate first before I made any career decisions. I ended up getting quite a few job offers with amazing companies, but none of them were what I wanted or where I could see myself. I didn’t want to settle and I decided to take some time after classes were complete to thoroughly apply to positions that I could see myself working.

Come January, I got sick with Covid which then turned into pneumonia (again). I luckily recovered quickly, but it did knock me off my feet for a few weeks and put a pause on the job search and my life in general.
I think my body was telling me to relax, to take time for myself. So, I took a much-needed break from everything — no classes, no work, and no blogging.
I decided to take some time and apply and interview for a ton of jobs.
I accepted and started my first job post college which is remote.
…and that’s pretty much it.
So with all that being said, I’m excited to be back. I’ve graduated. I’m four weeks into my new job. Spring is officially here. And I’m ready for this new chapter of LexRayn and I hope you are too!
